work in the first place, it actually takes me enough time in my day, plus a "principle" disaffection of the Blog. It can happen.
In any case, all this winter and early spring, to comment on any particular event.
Lately something has already happened.
First I open and close immediately a topic that was brought to my attention this week. More than one reader of my novel to me is writing the "unbelievable" similarities between my book and the disaster of earthquake in Italy a week ago.
The description that I gave the site of a disaster in urban areas, techniques of fire service, how to move the journalists at the level of shots, technologies and phrases that tell the microphones, such as conducting interviews with survivors, and especially as the escort of the President of the Council is moving, the cameras, the places affected by the disaster. The person who comes out saying that he had thought of everything ...
.. etc etc ... Taking into account that my novel is a disaster happen, not of natural origin, in the Marches, Abruzzo and not, for the rest, I admit that I was "relatively impressed."
Readers can only say: I have limited myself to describing an Italy that I know well from this point of view "technical", or machinery of government relief and the media. Ditto for the escort of the President of the Council. It is no accident that they moved exactly as I described in my story that I wrote four years ago.
The fact remains that mine is just a novel and must remain. Beat the similarities, there remains only the drama of the Eagle and surrounding areas.

Back to the main question. How do you write a novel.

Once in the "creative rhythm," write every day is counterproductive, but writing is just once a week.
When I developed the novel, I had a rate of 3 times a week, and when I had the greatest yield of "volume of writing" was on Sunday morning. I sincerely believe
little writer by night, or who produces a novel in less than a week. It seems to me that Umberto Eco once said that the "Name of the Rose" had written in a few nights. Lucky him.
Thus, "regulate" the time that is dedicated to the development of the novel. But before you write it, there is an earlier stage, fundamental, which is planning the novel.
I said above that I think just the writer in no time a novel, and I think even less to those who say that writing "cast."
A novel, if we want to have a slightly more complex and intelligent plot of an episode of a television series detective Made in Italy, has to be planned.
There are many methods as well as instruments.
Everything is fine, provided that help your brain to develop a global vision, but also detailed the plot. Some people do
patterns on paper, type "flow chart", there are those who fill out a numbered list that represent the events of history in chronological order.
I prefer to use software that allows me to set the plot points, to follow the story characters, and various details, without falling into nonsense by famous novelists Anglo-Saxons, who are sgam girl from a reader who had a live person in one scene, while he was dead the first hundred pages.
So, to sum up: the main plot, characters, interaction of the characters with the plot. Do
patterns that summarize these points, putting down a timeline, marking the events of history.
This rule is fine for any class of novel: the love story more engaging, brick historical / political.

There are only three tips: document, documents and even read.
You can not write a story involving military technology and related topics, and then write stupid things as a journalist worthy of the province. The average reader passionate
of these topics, is a demanding reader, and in most cases, an individual who generally knows more of the writer himself, in certain subjects. And he hates being
infinocchiare.
In my case of my first novel background and years of reading specific publications Anglo-Saxon and not allowed me to manage a considerable amount of information, to mix in my narrative.
In the second novel, I put technologies and situations that take place abroad, that I could not "touch". But given the sensitivity of certain topics, and the absolute desire to present events in a more realistic and detailed possible, it took me a year and a half to document among foreign publishers of books (carefully selected among the authors less overtly political), and contacting people whose anonymity is guaranteed the minimum required, given the Italian law on certain activities abroad.
But back to how to organize the writing of the novel in detail. I repeat: I am describing my method, developed after the completion of my first novel.
A novel is a story divided into chapters.
Each chapter, depending on the style of narration, may have some changes of scene, or follow more plots. The scheme de
follow is:
-write the plot general throughout the novel, without going into too much detail, but reporting only the key points of the narrative. Although it may be a complex plot, you must stay within a page.
-Write a profile for each character with his personal and physical description and other details of his personality, background ... It is said that all these details will emerge during the novel, but writing it will help you describe the character more depth.
-Divide the plot into chapters, each chapter and write a summary. The summary of the chapter to answer these questions: WHO, HOW AND WHEN.
-Take a file to write all the ideas that jump to mind for novel, to fix them immediately. Keep them in the head just disappear.
insist on writing their own ideas so much, because writing is a neurological process that helps us to fine tune and clarify ideas. Not only to preserve them.
Example: During the day I am reminded of a detail for the novel. In the lead appears to "turn right", then when the file on disk (or on paper diaries for lovers ...) I have to organize this idea ... As long as there remains at the top and nothing else, when you want it "fit" in the plot of the novel, you might have "problems". Or having to spend more time to manage and interface with the rest of the story.
This is the method I use for the preparation of my writings, is not guaranteed to work with all writers.
