I'm back here,
in vain to keep a promise to return this blog a bit 'latest. It 's true that now we have Facebook, but it is another thing. If in some ways Facebook is a very agile way to keep in touch with the people, the other is a crowded bandwagon of junk.
a Better Blog. There is less interaction with others, but it is more genuine and spontaneous. Two adjectives unknown to the world of Facebook users.
But back to this blog, and then at me.
I became a father. Ve the square just there, without preparation.
Not yesterday, not even the day before yesterday, but in mid-October of 2009.
It 's a beautiful girl and we called Lia.
Now, maybe you expect to face a good speech on how to live introspective paternity. I can only say: good.
When I became aware of being a father? Not right away, and say that's normal, but after about four months, or one morning while taking her up Lia, in the bathroom, I was brushing my teeth, and reflection in the mirror I saw the girl trying to grab a toothbrush that was stuck inside my mouth foaming with toothpaste, and laugh like crazy.
There I had the clear perception of becoming a father and my daughter is attracted by small daily nonsense, just like me. Other than DNA testing.
In this image, fairly recent, you can see portraits of the activities that we can better do together. :-D
's second novel ... Me were screaming via email, Facebook, and I will answer here. Movement is proceeding well, after a year of hibernation absolutely precise. Now I'm writing at a fast pace thanks to an unexpected creative drive and a great experience living last month.
In mid June I was a guest of the 2nd Mobile Brigade of the Carabinieri, in Livorno. I lived a typical day with the staff of the Special Intervention Group of the Carabinieri, better known to most with their acronym GIS.
recap the events that led to this exceptional experience.
's second novel, which will have a plot much more complex than the first, will have a good part of the story that takes place entirely on Italian soil. GIS Carabinieri will star in more action sequences. Willing to learn and above all have a feedback on their current activities and technologies, I asked the public relations office of the Force, a meeting with the staff of the GIS for the creation of the novel. In a surprisingly short time, and after some self-verification, the shipowner, on my personal background, I received a letter from Rome for permission to visit.
Contrary to any journalistic, the most common thing they are familiar with the officers of the Department when were "civilian guests, my request was a different kind.
I wanted to "live and breathe the atmosphere of a typical day inside the base, its corridors, offices and places of recreation. I did not need a technical briefing on the arms of the Department (as I had, and the highest level), I wanted to understand how to best describe my readers what it means to live the everyday life of people as well as the Special Police of the GIS. To be clear, I did not want to know the type and model of arms included: I wanted to see how he moved in his everyday life in the weapons department armory. I did not want to know what kind of explosives used for the removal of obstacles, but I wanted to talk with the blaster head, and tell by his hands the difficulties of his role. My request was initially embarrassed the officer who kindly accompanied me during the day, but then he understood my request, and I was happy taking me to the places most characteristic of the base (the top was reached, for my purposes narrative in the canteen and the bar of the base) and making me talk to the staff more representative of the Department. I found people very door to dialogue with the desire to communicate, especially when they found me in a technical contact at high level. All this took place in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Summits of the Department have shown considerable interest in my literary initiative against them, and I admit that the ending of the novel, I was suggested by an operator, after having analyzed the whole plot on the GIS.
E 'was really a beautiful day, and now I have a moral duty to best describe what I "absorbed."
What I read in the novel in relation to GIS is the result of this day spent in the department. A heartfelt Thanksgiving equipment of Police for the opportunity I was given.
