WHAT IS COUNSELLING
The term "Counseling" is not easily translatable. "To counsel" translated from Italian means "advise", "recommend". In fact one of the main precepts of Counseling is precisely the total abstention from providing advice or direction to his client. Consequently the Italian translation that best matches the actual job is "helping relationship" or "talk of aid" (the Latin word "consultation" means "come to the aid of"). The definition of approved
